  • Safari contains essential vitamins and minerals
  • Braaipap is more granular than regular maize meal
  • Safari is distributed from one of five regional warehouses
  • Braaipap is usually eaten with a tomato-and-onion gravy, and boerewors

There’s nothing more South African than a braai – and where there’s a braai, there’s Safari Braaipap. Safari is a premium, course-grained maize traditionally used to make a hearty dish of braaipap.

Safari Braaipap has a high nutritional content, meeting 15% to 48% of the daily amounts of essential vitamins and minerals recommended by health professionals.

Safari is produced at the Ruto milling complex in Pretoria, the largest of its kind in South Africa. It is available in pack sizes ranges from 1kg to 80kg.
