It is everyone’s dream to own a house! Mageu Number 1 made this come true for one lucky couple.
During February to April 2011, consumers of this refreshing energy drink, had the opportunity to enter the Mageu Number 1 “Win a House“ competition. With more than 350 000 entries received, it was clear to see that Mageu Number 1, known as” My number 1 power drink , all day all in one” is a firm favourite with hard working South Africans.
The final draw was conducted under the supervision of Price Waterhouse Coopers and Mr Sipho Mashaba, a 34 year old security guard from Nelspruit and father of two, was the winner of the first prize. Mr Mashaba was overjoyed and opted to accept cash to the value of R450 000 in order to build on his own land. Mr Mashaba had tears in his eyes and said that this prize from Mageu Number 1 will change his life. A loyal Mageu Number 1 consumer, his wife said that he buys a carton of Mageu and a Daily Sun every day!
The second prize of R30 000 went to Butti Moatlhodi from Koster and the third prize of R10 000 was won by Aubrey Mangena from Thembisa. Sixty lucky people won R1000 each. On being notified that they had won, the general comment was that the cash boost eased the monthly financial pressures. To quote one of the winners, “This is like a bonus in the middle of the year”.
